Growing a Tiny Human? We've Got You.
Prenatal Care Is One of Our Specialties. And We Mean It.
Caring for pregnant women isn't something we occasionally do at Vitality. It's a major part of our practice, and we've invested years in developing the knowledge and skills to do it exceptionally well.
Our training extends beyond Webster certification to advanced perinatal chiropractic education, pediatric chiropractic, and specialized techniques for caring for moms and babies. We continue refining our skills because we believe pregnant moms deserve providers who understand the unique demands of this season.
We've had the privilege of caring for hundreds of women through pregnancy, often seeing the same families return with their second, third, or even fourth babies.
Many of our moms tell us that chiropractic care helped them feel more comfortable and enjoy their pregnancies more. We've also heard countless birth stories from women who felt their labor and delivery experiences were easier than they anticipated.
We Consider Ourselves Part of Your Birth Team.
When you choose Vitality for prenatal care, we consider ourselves part of your birth team.
We take that role seriously, and we love working alongside the doulas, midwives, OBs, pelvic floor physical therapists, lactation consultants, and childbirth educators who support our moms.
We've spent years building relationships with professionals in the birth community, and we're always happy to help connect you with trusted local resources.
Whether you're preparing for your first baby or your fifth, we want you to feel supported, informed, and confident in the people caring for you.
What Does a Prenatal Adjustment Actually Look Like?
First things first: let's talk about that table.
We have a specialized chiropractic table and pregnancy pillows designed to accommodate your growing belly, so you can lie face down comfortably when appropriate. If you've spent the last several months trying to find a comfortable sleeping position, you might appreciate this more than you expect.
Your visit starts with a conversation about how you're feeling, what your pregnancy has been like, and what you'd love some help with. We'll assess how your spine and pelvis are moving, explain what we find, and discuss the techniques that may be appropriate for you.
Depending on your needs, care may involve gentle pressure, mobilization, or specific, controlled adjustments. Everything is adapted to your stage of pregnancy, examination findings, and comfort level.
And if something doesn't feel comfortable, tell us. This is your body, your pregnancy, and your care.
From the First Trimester to the Final Countdown
There's no single perfect time to begin prenatal chiropractic care.
Some moms come in as soon as they find out they're pregnant, while others find us halfway through pregnancy when their hips or lower back start asking for a little extra attention. And some show up at 38 weeks wondering why nobody told them about us sooner.
We welcome you at every stage.
Whether you're looking for help with pregnancy-related back or pelvic discomfort, hoping to stay active, or simply interested in chiropractic care during pregnancy, we'll take the time to understand your goals and develop an approach that makes sense for you.
And After Baby Arrives? We're Still Here.
Pregnancy gets a lot of attention, but postpartum deserves just as much.
Your body doesn't magically return to its pre-pregnancy state the moment your baby is born. You're healing and adapting while feeding, carrying, rocking, and probably spending a remarkable amount of time looking down at someone very small.
We love caring for moms during this season, too. Whether you're returning for your own adjustment, bringing your newborn in for a visit, or simply stopping by to introduce us to the newest member of the family, we're always happy to see you.
A Little More Comfortable. A Lot More Supported.
You deserve to feel heard, cared for, and confident in the people you choose to support you during pregnancy.
We'd love to be part of your team.
