Massage Therapy at Vitality

More Than Relaxation. Care That Meets Your Body Where It Is.

Your body has a story to tell. Sometimes it's written in tight shoulders and aching muscles. Sometimes it's swelling, stress, or the physical demands of pregnancy and motherhood. And sometimes, you just know something feels off, even if you can't quite put your finger on it.

At Vitality, we believe massage therapy is about so much more than an hour of relaxation. It's an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body, and give it the thoughtful, individualized care it deserves.

Our licensed massage therapist, Candice, brings six years of experience and extensive training in specialized therapeutic techniques. Her approach is simple:

No two bodies are the same, and no two massage sessions should have to be, either.

Rather than asking you to choose one technique from a menu, Candice takes time to understand what your body needs and thoughtfully combines different approaches throughout your session.

Some days that might mean focused deep tissue work. Other days, gentle lymphatic techniques, myofascial release, or simply creating space for your nervous system to settle.

Because your body isn't a checklist. And your care shouldn't be, either.

Specialized Massage Therapy ServicesLymphatic Drainage Therapy

Gentle, specialized care for your body's lymphatic system.

One of Candice's greatest passions is Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT), a specialized approach developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly.

Unlike traditional massage, LDT uses exceptionally gentle, precise techniques informed by the anatomy and movement of the lymphatic system.

Candice has completed extensive advanced training in the Chikly method and has also served as a teaching assistant for introductory LDT courses.

Your lymphatic system plays an important role in fluid balance, immune function, and your body's natural waste-clearing processes. Lymphatic Drainage Therapy is designed to support healthy lymphatic fluid movement and your body's natural detoxification pathways.

This specialized care may be helpful for individuals experiencing swelling, fluid retention, or certain post-surgical recovery concerns when medically appropriate. Candice also has a particular interest in working with individuals navigating complex wellness concerns, including autoimmune conditions.

Every session is individualized. Rather than following the same routine each visit, Candice considers your health history, current concerns, and how your body is responding.

Your first lymphatic appointment is intentionally just 30 minutes.

This shorter introductory session allows Candice to introduce the techniques gently and gives your body time to respond before progressing to longer or more comprehensive sessions. It's a thoughtful, gradual approach designed to avoid overwhelming you with too much bodywork at once.

Prenatal & Postpartum Massage

Because moms deserve to be cared for, too.

Pregnancy is an incredible journey, but that doesn't mean your back, hips, and shoulders always agree.

With six years of experience supporting expectant and new mothers, Candice provides nurturing, pregnancy-informed massage designed to help ease muscular tension and encourage relaxation.

At Vitality, prenatal massage is available beginning at 12 weeks and can continue throughout pregnancy as comfort and individual circumstances allow.

Specialized pregnancy positioning and supportive cushions help moms find comfortable ways to rest while receiving care.

And the care doesn't have to end when baby arrives.

Postpartum massage offers an opportunity to care for your own recovering body, whether you're navigating the physical demands of feeding and carrying a newborn, recovering from birth, or simply craving a moment to yourself.

Candice also loves incorporating gentle lymphatic therapy into postpartum care, particularly for moms experiencing swelling or recovering from a C-section. These specialized techniques can be adapted to each mother's recovery, offering additional support as her body adjusts after childbirth.

One of her favorite parts of her work? Getting to know a mama during pregnancy and eventually meeting the little person everyone has been waiting for.

Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Massage

For the muscles that have been working overtime.

Whether you're dealing with persistent muscle tension, soreness, or the physical demands of everyday life, therapeutic massage can help address areas of discomfort and improve how your body feels and moves.

Depending on your needs, Candice may incorporate:

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Myofascial release
  • Structural integration techniques
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Cupping
  • Gentle stretching and focused soft-tissue work

The goal isn't simply to use as much pressure as possible. It's to find the techniques and level of pressure that work best for you.

Nervous System-Focused Bodywork

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is slow down.

Stress doesn't just live in our calendars. We often feel it in our muscles, our breathing, and the way we carry ourselves through the day.

Candice incorporates gentle bodywork and calming techniques to create an environment where you can truly relax.

Her training includes biodynamic brain therapy, trauma-informed massage, and specialized approaches to gentle cranial and lymphatic work.

She also enjoys incorporating tuning forks and singing bowls into sessions when appropriate, offering an additional sensory element to the relaxation experience.

Whether you've had a difficult week or simply need time to reconnect with yourself, there's room for that here.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first massage at Vitality begins with a conversation.

Candice will ask about your health history, areas of discomfort, goals, and preferences. She'll also take time to understand what feels comfortable for you, including your preferred pressure and any areas you'd like her to focus on or avoid.

For first-time clients booking traditional massage, she generally recommends a 60-minute appointment. This allows enough time for a full-body massage and helps establish a starting point for future sessions.

Shorter appointments are available for more focused concerns.

For lymphatic therapy, your first appointment is always 30 minutes, allowing for a gentle introduction before considering longer sessions.

And because your needs may change from one visit to the next, your care will continue to evolve with you.

Massage Appointments & Pricing

More time for you. Just as it should be.

At Vitality, we believe your massage should feel like time well spent. We don't turn a 60-minute appointment into a standard 50-minute spa treatment just to make room for the next guest. We schedule your care with intention, so you can enjoy the time you've set aside for yourself without feeling rushed.

A gentle introductory appointment that allows Candice to assess your needs, introduce specialized lymphatic techniques, and give your body time to respond before progressing to longer sessions.

Follow-Up Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Individualized appointments that build on your initial session, with techniques and session lengths tailored to your needs.

A Little More Heart in Every Session

For Candice, massage therapy is more than a profession. It's a calling.

Her faith inspires the compassion and intention she brings to her work, and she strives to make every appointment a peaceful, welcoming experience. If prayer is something you'd appreciate during your session, she's always happy to share that with you.

At Vitality, we believe excellent care and genuine connection belong together.

You don't have to arrive with all the answers. You don't even have to know which type of massage you need.

Just come as you are.

We'll meet you there.
