Big Feelings. Big Adventures. Growing Bodies.

Pediatric Chiropractic Care at Vitality Family Chiropractic

Kids are pretty incredible. They're constantly growing, learning, moving, and figuring out how the world works. Sometimes gracefully. Sometimes by launching themselves off the couch.

At Vitality, we believe childhood should be full of curiosity, adventure, and plenty of opportunities to be a kid. Our approach to pediatric chiropractic care considers the relationship between growing bodies, developing nervous systems, and the everyday demands of childhood.

Whether your child has a specific concern or you're looking for a chiropractor who understands pediatric care, we're happy to have your family here.

Growing Up Is a Full-Body Experience.

A child's nervous system is constantly receiving information about movement, balance, coordination, and the world around them.

As kids learn to walk, run, climb, play sports, and eventually master the art of carrying a backpack that weighs approximately as much as they do, their bodies are adapting every day.

Add in hours spent looking down at tablets, phones, and gaming devices, and it's easy to understand why posture, spinal mobility, and movement patterns deserve attention.

Our pediatric assessments consider spinal and joint function, posture, coordination, and age-appropriate development. We're interested in how your child's body is functioning as a whole, not simply where something hurts.

Big Feelings. Developing Nervous Systems.

Childhood comes with a lot of emotions, sensory experiences, and challenges. Some kids seem to take everything in stride, while others experience the world a little more intensely.

Parents often ask us about nervous system regulation, sensory sensitivities, emotional outbursts, difficulty settling, and challenges with attention or impulse control.

We love having those conversations.

The nervous system plays an important role in how children process sensory information, coordinate movement, respond to stress, and develop self-regulation skills.

Our nervous-system-centered approach considers how sensory input from the spine, joints, and muscles contributes to the body's awareness of movement and position. We evaluate musculoskeletal function while taking each child's developmental needs and experiences into account.

Most importantly, we want children to feel safe, understood, and respected, especially when the world feels a little overwhelming.

From Playground Adventures to Friday Night Lights.

Whether your child is learning to ride a bike, spending weekends at gymnastics meets, or competing under the Friday night lights, growing bodies take on a lot.

Sports place unique demands on developing muscles and joints. Between repetitive movements, training schedules, growth spurts, and the occasional spectacular wipeout, there's plenty to keep young athletes busy.

At Vitality, we work with young athletes experiencing sports-related aches, joint restrictions, and movement concerns. We assess mobility and biomechanics, with attention to how different parts of the body work together.

For athletes interested in performance, we also look at movement efficiency and physical limitations that may be affecting their training. Addressing musculoskeletal concerns can be one part of supporting comfortable movement, recovery, and participation in the sports they love.

From the first soccer game to the varsity starting lineup, we love cheering on our Vitality kids.

What Does a Pediatric Adjustment Look Like?

First, we get to know your kid.

Some children want to know exactly what we're doing and why. Others would prefer to tell us about their favorite dinosaur, show us their latest gymnastics move, or negotiate the entire appointment.

We're good with all of it.

Every child is welcome at Vitality, including children with sensory sensitivities, developmental differences, disabilities, or additional support needs. We understand that some kids need extra time, a quieter environment, different positioning, or simply the freedom to approach a new experience at their own pace.

We meet kids where they are, celebrate what makes them unique, and work with parents to make visits as comfortable and positive as possible.

Our adjustments are adapted to your child's age, size, comfort, and examination findings. We use age-appropriate techniques and explain what we're doing along the way.

We don't expect kids to sit perfectly still or behave like tiny adults. We want them to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing preferences, and participating in their care.

Because building trust matters.

A Place to Grow Up.

Many of our patients are kids we've known since before they were born.

We've watched them take their first steps, lose their first teeth, start kindergarten, join sports teams, and grow into teenagers who are suddenly taller than everyone in the office.

It's a privilege to be part of those years.

Whether your child is two, twelve, or somewhere in between, we'd love to welcome them to Vitality.
